Welcome to hitz.me — a community‑driven music and communication platform. This User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your access to and use of the hitz.me website, mobile applications, and APIs (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. About hitz.me
hitz.me provides a communication and content‑sharing infrastructure for users, artists, and developers. The Platform itself does not act as a publisher of user or third‑party content. All materials, including music, text, and media, are shared by users and partners at their own initiative and responsibility.
2. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account using accurate and complete information. You are responsible for all activities under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. hitz.me may suspend or terminate accounts in cases of violations, false data, or abuse.
3. Types of Content and Responsibilities
Official Licensed Content
Provided by right holders or distributors under signed agreements. Such content may be promoted or monetized by hitz.me, with revenue shared according to applicable Distribution Agreements.
User‑Generated Content (UGC)
Uploaded or shared directly by users. Users retain ownership but are solely responsible for ensuring that their content complies with copyright and legal standards.
Third‑Party or API‑Based Content
Available through external integrations, community plugins, or developer‑built extensions. hitz.me provides open API access under the Developer Policy and bears no responsibility for third‑party content or actions.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- upload or distribute illegal or infringing content;
- use the Platform to harass or harm others;
- misuse APIs or attempt to bypass technical limits;
- engage in fraudulent or deceptive activity.
Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal of your account.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
Some features, content, or subscriptions may require payment in USD. Payments are processed by secure third‑party gateways. Refunds are provided only as required by law or at the discretion of hitz.me.
6. Intellectual Property
Users retain ownership of their own content but grant hitz.me a non‑exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and share it on the Platform. All trademarks, software, and design elements of hitz.me are owned by the Platform and protected by intellectual property laws.
7. API and Developer Integrations
Developers may build integrations and plugins through the open API. Use of the API is governed by the Developer Policy. Developers are independently responsible for any data they access, share, or process.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. hitz.me is not responsible for:
- user or third‑party content;
- plugin or API functionality;
- service interruptions caused by external systems.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, hitz.me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Termination
hitz.me may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time for violations of these Terms or other reasons deemed necessary. Users may delete their accounts through the account settings or by contacting support.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Country of Incorporation.
